QUETTA: A Levies official and an Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) of police were killed in two separate incidents of firing in Quetta and Jhal Magsi districts of Balochistan on Tuesday.
According to details, unidentified armed men opened fire on ASI Ali Nawaz on Sariab road quetta killing him on the spot.
The assailants sped away on their motorcycle after the attack, the sources added.
The policeman’s body was shifted to Civil Hospital Quetta for postmortem.
In another incident, armed men opened fire and killed a levies official in Gandawah, the district head quarter of Jhal Magsi district.
Levies sources said the assailants fled from the scene after committing the crime.
