LRH administration surrenders protesting paramedics’ services to DG Health

PESHAWAR: The Lady Reading Hospital (LRH) Peshawar administration on Wednesday surrendered the services of protesting paramedic staff to Director General Health, whereas the affected employees once again warned of protests.
According to details, the 26 paramedics’ workers of the LRH were transferred last year due to strikes and protests. However, the workers had obtained stay order from Peshawar High Court against the transfer orders. However, few days ago the PHC had rejected the writ petition of paramedics staff and the hospital administration has surrendered the services of 26 protesting workers to DG Health. Action will be taken very soon on the directives.
