ISLAMABAD (Khyber News) – Government of Punjab has decided to resume metro bus service in Lahore and Rawalpindi-Islamabad after lifting coronavirus lockdown.
However, metro service will resume with strict implementation of (SOPs) for customers and staff.
In addition to this, face masks will be mandatory for everyone and passengers are directed to leave middle seat empty. Staff of the PMA are issuing limited number of tickets as only 38 passengers are allowed to travel in one metro bus.
Furthermore, Punjab is allowing all sectors except marriage halls and educational institutes to operate under safety measures outlined by the government.
Lastly, The local administration has apprised all operators about the resumption of bus service in this regard.
