Misuse of helicopter: NAB summons Imran Khan on August 7

PESHAWAR: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has summoned Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on August 7 in connection with the alleged misuse of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government’s helicopter during the previous PTI-led government in the province.
The anti-graft body has already recorded statements of the then Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak and civil aviation authorities along with four senior bureaucrats.
NAB has also ordered an inquiry against Khattak to ascertain if he had the power to hand over sensitive assets for non-governmental usage.
Imran Khan had used helicopters of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government from Bani Gala to Kohat, Peshawar, Mardan, Batagram, Dir, Kumrat valley and other areas.
