KARACHI: The MQM leaderAbdul Rauf Siddiqui Saturday got interim bail in as many as 16 cases from an anti-terrorism court (ATC) till August 15.
The MQM leader appeared before the ATC. The court directed the accused to submit surety bonds of Rs20000 in all the cases and ordered the security officers not to arrest Abdul Rauf Siddiqui till August 15.
Meanwhile, the home department approved the trial of the three alleged Indian spies in jail.
The home department notification has been received by the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC). The three alleged India spies working for India’s Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) have been identified as Tahir aka Lamba, Junaid and Imtiaz.
The home department has maintained that the three alleged spies be tried in jail due to security reasons. Tahir and Junaid were arrested by the police on April 29th this year
