NAB gets 10-day physical remand of Sibtain Khan

LAHORE: An accountability court Saturday remanded former Punjab Minister for Forests Sibtain Khan into NAB’s custody for 10 days.
Earlier, he resigned from his post after arrest by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB). The NAB presented before the accountability court and requested for 14 days physical of the minister. However, the court remanded him into NAB’s custody for and directed the NAB present the accused on June 25 before the court.
The NAB Friday arrested Sibtain Khan on corruption charges. According to reports, the provincial minister has sent his resignation to the chief minister of Punjab.
Meanwhile, the Nab would present him before an accountability bureau for physical remand today.
