NAB’s silence against Asif’s corruption, incomprehensible: Imran

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has said that the silence of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) regarding action against Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif over corruption was incomprehensible.
During a meeting with party’s member Usman Dar at his residence in Bani Gala on Wednesday, the PTI Chief claimed they had substantial proofs against the Foreign Minister and his wife.
Both the leaders discussed that proofs of corruption and money laundering against Khawaja Asif to be handed over to NAB.
He instructed Usman Dar to constitute a committee of party members and held meeting with Chairman NAB in this connection.
Imran Khan said he was ready to provide bank transactions of Khawaja Asif and his wife to NAB, but the anti-graft body was still not ready to take action against the Foreign Minister.
He added that after judiciary, the nation was looking forward to NAB and hoped that the anti-graft body would soon launch action against the Foreign Minister.
