ISLAMABAD: An accountability court Wednesday summoned former adviser to Prime Minister (PM) on parliamentary affairs Babar Awan, former prime minister Raja Pervez Ashraf and five others in a reference regarding Nandipur power project.
The Islamabad accountability court summoned all the accused on September 18.
The reference was filed by National Accountability Bureau (NAB) over alleged delay in the project causing Rs27billin losses to the national exchequer.
Babar Awan has resigned from his post after the NAB filed a reference against him in the accountability court.
