Nation celebrates Eid Milad un Nabi today with religious fervor

Eid Miladun Nabi (SAW) is being celebrated today across the country with religious zeal and fervor. The day dawned with a 31 and 21 gun-salute in the federal and provincial capitals respectively.

Special prayers will be offered in mosques for peace, progress and prosperity of the country, besides early liberation of Palestine and Kashmir.

Special conferences, events and Mehfil-e-Milad are also being arranged across the country. All government and private buildings, including streets, markets and mosques have been decorated with colourful lights and buntings.

In connection with Eid Miladun Nabi, a National Rehmatul-lil-Alameen (SAWW) Conference will be held in Islamabad today under the auspices of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony.

Prominent Ulema and Mashaikh, scholars and foreign delegates will participate in the conference and threw light on various aspects of the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SAWW).
