Nawaz along with Shehbaz and Maryam to leave for London on Sunday

ISLAMABAD: Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif is likely to leave for London on November 10 (Sunday) along with Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president Shehbaz Sharif and vice president Maryam Nawaz for medical treatment.
The doctors at Harley Street Clinic in London have also been consulted regarding Nawaz Sharif’s medical treatment.
On the other hand, the federal government has decided to remove Nawaz Sharif’s name from the Exit Control List (ECL). The interior ministry will write a letter to the federal cabinet and the erstwhile premier’s name will be removed from the ECL after approval.
Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif will presumably accompany elder brother Nawaz Sharif for his treatment abroad, and has cancelled all other engagements.
On the other hand, Maryam Nawaz has contacted her legal team and decided to file miscellaneous petition to get her passport back which was submitted in the Lahore High Court following her bail approval. The counsels also met Shehbaz Sharif.
On October 25, the Lahore High Court (LHC) had bailed Nawaz Sharif indefinitely on medical grounds in Chaudhry Sugar Mills case, days after he was taken to Services Hospital from Kot Lakhpat Jail after deterioration of his health.
The ruling had come after doctors confirmed Sharif was suffering from an autoimmune blood disorder requiring immediate medical attention.
