Nawaz, Maryam reach Islamabad to appear before accountability court

Interior Ministry clarifies Nawaz, Maryam not placed on ECL

ISLAMABAD: Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz reached Islamabad from London in the wee hours of Monday.
Former PM and his daughter had reached London Wednesday night to visit Kulsoom Nawaz wife of Nawaz Sharif who is undergoing cancer treatment at a hospital in London.
A large number of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders and workers were present at the airport to welcome Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz on their return. They left for Punjab House from the airport.
Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz are scheduled to appear in the accountability court in National Accountability Bureau‘s (NAB) Avenfield reference today (Monday) after their exemption from hearing pleas were rejected.
