Nisar directs Rawalpindi police to investigate murder case of session judge as challenge

RAWALPINDI: Interior Minister Ch. Nisar Ali Khan here on Saturday directed Rawalpindi Police to investigate murder case of late Tahir Khan Niazi, Additional Session Judge, as a challenge. He said that all agencies of federal and provincial government would assist Punjab Police in this case. The Minister directed Rawalpindi Police that investigation should be carried out taking into account all aspects including dacoity, terrorism and enmity.  
The minister said this during his visit to the residence of late Tahir Khan Niazi, Additional Session Judge, for extending condolence with the bereaved family. 
The Minister offered fateha for the departed soul and expressed his heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family. He assured the bereaved family that federal and provincial government would provide every possible support and every effort would be made to arrest the culprits and to bring them to justice. 
CPO Rawalpindi on the occasion briefed the Interior Minister about the progress made so far into the case. The Minister directed that Islamabad and Rawalpindi police should jointly investigate the case. He said that that not only the judiciary and the legal fraternity but the entire nation looks towards Rawalpindi Police to apprehend the culprits at the earliest.
