Indian troops' unprovoked firing along LoC injures one civilian

RAWALPINDI: Two civilians, including a woman, and a junior army soldier embraced martyrdom on Friday when Indian troops resorted to unprovoked cease fire violation along LOC in Rakhchikri, Rawalakot and targeted civil population with heavy weapons.
One civilian was also injured in the firing.
According to a statement issued by the ISPR, army patrol assisting evacuation of civilian casualties also came under Indian firing resulting into the martyrdom of Naib Subedar Nadeem while 3 soldiers got injured.
Pakistan Army troops gave a befitting response to Indian army posts which engaged civil population.
Reports of casualties on Indian side, it added.
