Opposition submits requisition to summon NA session

NA unanimously passes resolution condemning desecration of Holy Quran in Norway

ISLAMABAD: The opposition political parties have submitted a requisition in the National Assembly secretariat to summon a Lower House session for a debate on a bill that allow an ineligible person to become president of a political party.
The major opposition parties Pakistan Peoples Party, Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf, Muttahida Quami Movement and other parties have jointly submitted the requisition in the National Assembly Secretariat to immediately summon the National Assembly (NA) session to debate on the bill over allowing an ineligible person to become president of a political party. About 106 Members of the National Assembly of the opposition political parties have signed the requisition.
