COAS General Bajwa to leave for London on five-day visit today

RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa said on Tuesday that Pakistan Army is committed to the security and defence of the country.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), COAS Bajwa visited the National Defence University where university’s rector Lieutenant General Amir Riaz welcomed him.
According to ISPR, Army Chief General expressed his views on the internal and external challenges faced by the country, addressing the National Security and War Course at National Defence University.
COAS said that effective national strategy is needed for the trials to be challenged. “Pak Army is ready to deal with these threats through cooperation with other state institutions,” he asserted. The army will continue to defend their country with public support, he added.
