Rain interrupts Pakistan’s aggressive bowling against India

BIRMINGHAM: Pakistan’s bowling attack slowed down India to 46-0 off 9.5 overs in the International Cricket Council (ICC) Champions Trophy match being played here before the rain delayed the game.
Earlier, the green shirts won the toss and chose to field against India.
The green shirts have dropped Haris Sohail, Fakhar Zaman and Junaid Khan while Fahim Ashraf and leggie Shadab Khan have been added in the 12-man team announcement by the management.
Pakistan batting will be strengthened by openers Ahmed Shehzad and Azhar Ali whereas emerging maestro Babar Azam will most probably come at number 3.
Pakistan cricket team has picked pacers Wahab Riaz and Hasan Ali. It will be interesting to see how captain Sarfraz Ahmed switches between fast-bowlers and spinners in the overcast conditions at the Edgbaston Cricket Ground.
