Pakistan beats Zimbabwe in opener match of T-20 tri-series

HARARE: Pakistan defeated Zimbabwe by 74 runs in the opening match of T-20 tri-series at Harare Sports Club on Sunday.
The hosts won the toss and elected to field first against Pakistan after which, the green shirts managed to score 182 runs for the loss of four wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
Opener Fakhar Zaman scored 61 runs off 40 balls and Asif Ali made 41 runs off 21 balls followed by Shoaib Malik’s 37 off 24.
Tendai Chisoro remained prominent bowler with securing two wickets.
Due to the brilliant performance of Pakistani bowlers, the hosts were restricted to only 108 runs in 17.5 overs.
Muhammad Nawaz, Usman Khan, Hasan Ali and Muhammad Hafeez took two wickets each.
