In recent times, it has been observed that many Pakistan cricketers have been participating in social media ventures and are inter-acting with strangers and earning money too.
A source in the PCB has informed that the Board is aware of all this and has also briefed the players.
“Just before the England tour the players were briefed of the potential threat while interacting with strangers on social media,” “People approach players for sponsorship deals for which we have advised cricketers to refer such offers to their managers”. A number of players got in touch with the PCB domestic department as well to seek their permission in this regard.
