Eighty-four more illegal Afghan nationals were released by Pakistan and sent back to Afghanistan as a result of the efforts of the Afghan Consulate in Karachi.
In a statement issued from Afghan embassy in Islamabad said that Karachi police have freed 84 Afghans from jail.
According to the statement, these people were held in prison due to their lack of legal documents and were released as result of efforts of the Afghan Consulate in Karachi.
The Consul General of Afghanistan further said that efforts are being taken to release other Afghans who are detained in jails. Last month, Pakistan had deported around 150 Afghans after releasing from Karachi jail.
