NEW YORK: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif while addressing the Pakistani community in New York on Sunday said that Pakistan will continue its moral, political and diplomatic support to Kashmiri people for their right to self-determination.
The Prime Minister also warned India to stop atrocities in the Indian-held Kashmir. He said that Kashmir issue could only be solved by the implementation of UN resolutions.
He also urged the international community and the UN to “live up to their promise” of the right to self determination of the Kashmiri people in accordance with the UN Security Council resolutions.
The prime minister vowed to get rid of terrorism in the country. He also said that China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) would benefit the entire region.
