Pakistan win after Imran Khan’s withdrawal of Islamabad lockdown call: Nisar

Chaudhry Nisar says will soon decide about his political future

ISLLAMABAD: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Tuesday in Islamabad speaking about the events of the past few hours said that there were no winners or losers today only Pakistan remain the winner after PTI chief Imran Khan withdrawn his call to lockdown Islamabad on November 2.
Addressing a press conference Chaudhry Nisar said that today Pakistan has won. “It is a win for our children’s futures, and for institutions in this country.” “Pakistan’s win is in peace, democracy, rule of law and reliance on our institutions,” the interior ministry.
“I appreciate and welcome what Imran Khan has said,” referring to the PTI chief’s decision to shelve his plans for a ‘lockdown’ of Islamabad.
Nisar, however, said it was wrong to say that the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were unfairly targeted.
“I am aware of the ‘mehman nawazi’ of the Pakhtun people,” he said. “And we did not stop you when you protested in F-8 park.”
“But would you open your doors to a ‘lashkar’ trying to lockdown Peshawar?” he asked PTI supporters who attempted to march into Islamabad. “You adopted an incorrect policy,” he said.
“We used law enforcement agencies to uphold the constitution and law,” he said.
