Pakistan women cricket team wins T-20 series against Sri Lanka

COLOMBO: Pakistan women cricket team on Saturday beat Sri Lanka in the third T-20 match and won the 3-match series 2-1.
Sri Lanka won the toss and decided to field first after the Girls in Green 113 runs for the loss of six wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
Javeria Khan remained the top scorer with 38 runs followed by Sidra Ameen with 23 and Nidar Dar with 22 runs.
Sri Lanka’s BMSM Kumari and OU Ranasinghe took two wickets each.
Chasing the target, Sri Lanka could score only 75 runs in the allotted overs and lost eight wickets.
Bismah Maroof sent to players back to pavilion.
Javeria Khan was announced player of the match for her blistering knock which helped Pakistan post 113 runs on the scoreboard.
The match was played at Sinhalese Sports Club Ground of Colombo in Sri Lanka.
Prior to this, the Girls in Green whitewashed Sri Lanka 3-0 in the ODI series during the ongoing tour.
