Pakistan won’t allow any country to fight Afghan war on its soil: Ghafoor

Forming laws, making amendments responsibility of parliament: DG ISPR

RAWALPINDI: Director General (DG) Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor said that Pakistan had dismantled the network of terrorists and now it was the responsibility of the allied and Afghan forces to eliminate the terrorist organizations from Afghanistan.
Talking to a private news channel, Asif Ghafoor said that Afghanistan should share intelligence with Pakistan and that Pakistan was ready to cooperate and coordinate with its neighbour to eradicate terrorism.
The DG ISPR made it clear that Pakistan would not allow any country to fight Afghan war on its soil.
He said Pakistan enjoyed good relations with the United States and it needed nothing except confidence and trust from Washington.
DG ISPR said Pakistan had cooperated a lot with the US and wanted to continue the same diplomacy and cooperation in future too.
He said Pakistan played a vital role and extended cooperation to the US in the Afghan war and we had contributed a lot in war against terror.
To a question, he said that Pakistan’s nuclear assets were safe.
