PESHAWAR: Peshawar High Court has summoned Chairman Zamong Kor and District Naziim in a case regarding street children on next hearing.
Justice Qaisar Rahee and Justice Musarat Halali are hearing the case filed by Advocate Khurshid about deteriorating and pathetic condition of Child Welfare Home.
District Officer Social Welfare Department Muhammad Younis apprised the court that first street children were brought to the Child Welfare Home and later shifted to Zamong kor.
The petitioner alleged that 15 flats in Zamong Kor have been allocated to private people which would cast negative impact on children living there. During the hearing, Justice Qisar Rasheed remarked that it was our collective responsibility to look after these children.
