ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister (PM) Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Opposition leader in the National Assembly Syed Khurshid Shah finally reached a consensus regarding the name of caretaker premier.
Talking to media here on Friday, Khursheed Shah refused to reveal the name adding that the name would be announced on May 15.
He added that name of the caretaker prime minister rests with me for now and categorically said that he would never reveal the name in any condition.
Names of former finance minister Dr Hafeez Pasha, former chief justice Tassaduq Hussain Jillani and former governors of State Bank Dr Shamshad and Ishrat Hussain were taken under consideration during a previous meeting between the two leaders.
