LAHORE: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has reached Lahore on Thursday morning to hold meeting with the ousted prime minister Nawaz Sharif at Jati Umra.
Federal Minister for Power Awais Leghari, his adviser on finance, revenue, and economic affairs Miftah Ismail, and Minister of State for Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage Marriyum Aurangzeb accompanied the prime minister.
They were received by Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
A meeting of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is underway in Jati Umra at the residence of PML-N President Nawaz Sharif.
Current political situation in the country and other important matters would be discussed during the meeting, the reports read.
According to media reports, Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif, Senator Pervaiz Rasheed and Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique are also attending the meeting.
The reports added that would another meeting would be held with Nawaz Sharif in the chair to discuss the political situation of Balochistan.
