ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari expressed their deep sorrow and distress over the loss of human lives in a train accident in India.
Taking to Twitter, Prime Minister Shehbaz shared his heartfelt condolences and prayed for the recovery of the injured in India. He expressed deep sadness over the loss of hundreds of lives in the train accident and extended his sympathies to the bereaved families who lost their loved ones in this tragic incident. He also offered prayers for the speedy recovery of the injured.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also expressed his condolences for the tragic incident. In a tweet, he expressed his sadness upon learning about the high death toll in the train accident in Odisha, India. He offered his condolences to the families of the victims and wished a speedy recovery to those injured.
According to reports, the train collision resulted in the tragic loss of at least 288 lives, with over 850 people sustaining injuries. This incident is reported to be the deadliest rail accident in India in over two decades. The magnitude of the tragedy underscores the significance of the condolences expressed by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, as they expressed their solidarity with the people of India during this difficult time.
