PM Imran leaves for Lahore on one-day visit

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has left for Lahore on day-long visit to review the progress on 100-day agenda of the Punjab government today.
The prime minister would chair Punjab cabinet meeting. He would be briefed about the local bodies system by the Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar and Punjab Minister for Local Government and Community Development Aleem Khan.
According to a press release issued by the PTI media department, members of the provincial assembly will call on the Prime Minister.
PM Imran will chair a session of the Punjab cabinet at 3pm.
Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid, Forestry, Wildlife and Fisheries Minister Sibtain Khan and Tourism Minister Raja Yasir Humayun will take approvals from the prime minister for projects.
The prime minister will also meet PTI leaders and head of National Commission on Police Reform Nasir Khan Durrani. The prime minister would also discussed the upcoming by-elections with the PTI leaders.
