ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has constituted a special committee to provide relief to Rohingya Muslims.
The committee comprising of Interior Minister Nisar Ali Khan, Advisor to the PM on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz and Special Assistant to the PM on Foreign Affairs Tariq Fatemi would hold its first meeting in Islamabad on Sunday.
Chaudhry Nisar has called upon the international organizations to take notice of genocide of Muslims of Rohingya.
In a statement issued Saturday, the interior minister said that silence of United Nations, Organization of Islamic Cooperation and other world bodies over the massacre of Muslims in Rohingya has raised many questions.
He said the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and the Federal Ministers expressed concern over the issue during the Cabinet meeting.
