PM Nawaz destroys institutions to save his corruptions: Imran Khan

PESHAWAR: Chiarman Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan here on Monday said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has destroyed all the state institutions just to save his corruption and avoid accountability.
Addressing the PTI rally in Peshawar, Imran Khan challenged Nawaz Sharif to bring Khyber Pakhtunkhwa like accountability system in Punjab. He said that PML-N government has destroyed Punjab police and used it for political purpose. He said that nations become great when they lift their character and become examples of justice adding that corrupt leaders destroy nations.
Imran Khan said that corrupt leaders destroy institutions so they never work for people. “Look at the Ehtesaab Commission in KP which is prosecuting sitting ministers. He said that there were glitches in KPEC and they changed it to be more transparent. He said that the Changa Manga politics, lifafa politics are all traits of Nawaz Sharif.
The PTI chief said that look at KP police; they arrested Soran Singh’s killers in 24 hours. Moreover they arrested Ambreens killers in Abbotabad. “I was ashamed to hear of what happened to the young girl but was proud of KP police for acting so swiftly against killers.
Khan made a special reference to federal minister Akram Khan Durrani saying that the minister claimed to topple the PTI-led government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and questioned him how can he oust the provincial government with majority seats in the province.
It is only possible that Durrani bribe masses, that too having come from a so-called religious party (JUI-F), he slammed.
The PTI chief shamed Durrani for doing politics in the name of Islam and then offering bribes to people, but urged him to offer money to PTI lawmakers in KP which will in return cleanse the party.
Taking exception to Maulana Fazlur Rahman, Imran said, “The JUI-F chief calls me an agent of Jews, I ask him that the Jews need not to hatch conspiracies in Pakistan in the presence of Fazl.”
“He was part of every government in the past and God forbid if a Jew becomes Pakistan’s premier, the JUI-F chief will also join his cabinet furnishing justifications for it,” the skipper blasted.
Taking a jab at the prime minister, he said, “Mian sahib you can’t see a reformed Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for you are searching for it at the wrong place”, adding, “The premier has been taking control of all institutions and the entire opposition is with him except for me, but then surfaced Panama Papers leaks naming his family with offshore assets.”
He said: Nawaz Sharif should have answered like David Cameron did, but he started touring the country instead. The premier lacked the moral courage to step down like Iceland’s prime minister.
He described the prime minister as ‘master of saving corruption’, asking, “Mian Sahib do not tour the country, answer the queries.”
The PTI chairman reiterated that Sharif installed Najam Sethi as chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for he had helped him rig the elections.
He slammed that the rulers impose heavy taxes on petrol, diesel, electricity and others and then take this wealth abroad, while the public is further burdened with massive foreign loans.
Responding to Akram Khan Durrani, Imran Khan said that Akram Durrani threatened to attack him in Bani Gala. He said that he is coming to Bannu, let’s see what Durrani could do.  He said that in Bannu, Nawaz Sharif’s entire rally was in a tent.  “I ask Akram Durrani to put a price on our people in KP. Whoever is bought, it’s good our party will be cleaned out,” he added. He said that Akram Durrani is doing politics in name of Islam and then bribing people.
Imran Khan told Nawaz Sharif that NAB, FBR, FIA may all be under his control, but Imran Khan is not. He said that as opposition it is his duty is to question Nawaz Sharif.
Imran Khan said that through inflation the masses pay debts. He asked the people to raise hands to fight this corrupt status quo.
