PM Nawaz, Nisar discusses security situation in the country

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Thursday hold meeting and discussed several vital issues including security situation in the country.
Bothe the leaders expressed satisfaction over law and order situation in the country. PM Sharif said Youm-e-Ashur passed peacefully mainly owing to the government’s security measures, asserting the security agencies performed their duties in good manner.
During the meeting leaked news report about civil-military leadership relation was also discussed.
The federal minister apprised him of the progress over inquiry into the leaked report and said the probe will be completed by the time he (Prime Minister) comes back home.
It should be mentioned here that PM Sharif arrived Thursday morning at PAF Nur Khan Airbase to fly to Azerbaijan.
The Prime Minister is leaving for Azerbaijan today for a three-day visit on the invitation of President Ilham Aliyev.
He will be accompanied by a high-level delegation.
