PM Nawaz vows to end loadshedding by 2018


ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has vowed to end loadshedding for domestic consumers by 2018.
Speaking at the Exports Awards ceremony of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) here on Thursday, the prime minister said that there is no loadshedding in the industrial sector.
He said that his government was making efforts to control damages caused by wrong policies of the past governments.
The prime minister said that for the first time he took measures to root out terrorism in the country. Lights of Karachi and trust of people is restored. Backbone of terrorists has been broken down and the operation will continue until terrorism eliminated.
He said that our exports have increased by 6.1 percent.
Work on all development projects including CPEC is being carried out at brisk pace. “We are launching coal projects in Thar and after their completion we will get electricity at cheap rates,” said PM.
Talking about Bhasha Dam, the prime minister said that it will be the country’s biggest water reservoir.
