PESHAWAR: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Monday visited Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar and inquired after the health of the victims of Peshawar police lines mosque blast as the death toll has reached 37. The prime minister was accompanied by Army chief General Asim Munir.
Defence minister Khwaja Asif, interior minister Rana Sannaullah and information minister Maryium Aurangzeb were also present on this occasion.,
Federal information minister said that that the prime minister summoned emergency meeting after tragic Peshawar incident. She said the prime minister has summoned top officials of all relevant departments. He prime minister would chaired the meeting regarding law and order situation in the province. She added that initial investigation report would be presented the meeting, which review the causes of the current terror incidents.
Meanwhile, the blast death toll has reached 37. According to Khyber News correspondent, 32 dead bodies were brought to LRH, while five more dead bodies were recovered from the debries of the mosque.
