PML-N leaders hint at anti-govt movement after meeting Nawaz in jail

LAHORE: Like former president Asif Ali Zardari, the PML-N leaders also hinted at starting movement against the government after Eidul Fitr.

They strongly criticized the government economic policies, saying that the government has failed to control inflation in the country.
They said that the opposition parties have to join the people’s movement against the government as resentment against the government was on the rise. They said that the opposition parties have to take final decision regarding anti-government movement after Eid. They said that the PPP and PML-N could joint support the people’s protest against the government.
According to some reports, the former prime minister directed the party leaders to devise strategy for starting movement against the government after Ramazan. He said that the party leaders and workers should follow his narrative of ‘respect vote’.
Meanwhile, in a tweet after meeting her father, Maryam Nawaz said that Mian Nawaz Sharif was more concerned about the current economic situation and common man’s ordeal.
“MNS is leader of the masses. He was more concerned about the rapid economic deterioration & the common man’s ordeal than his frail health. Said PMLN must respond to the aspirations of the masses, stand with them & become their voice,” she tweeted.
