PML-N rejects SC’s review petition’s detailed verdict

PM Abbasi calls on Nawaz Sharif, discusses political situation

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League –Nawaz (PML-N) Wednesday rejected the Supreme Court’s detailed judgment in Sharifs’ review petition.
A high-level meeting of the PML-N was held at the Punjab House, which was chaired by Nawaz Sharif.
The PML-N issued a statement after the meeting, which objected the language used in the verdict and said that What was said regarding Nawaz Sharif does not fit the judicial language on any level.
“The contradictory words used against Nawaz should not be a matter of pride for any court and the verdict, from start to finish, is an unfortunate example of “anger and fury”.
Criticizing the apex court’s verdict further, the PML-N said that poetry was used to question leadership and the people of the country know that it was people in such positions who made the country.
It was the leaders who made sacrifices for the country, made Pakistan into a nuclear power, went through prison sentences, were hanged and exiled and now have been disqualified, elaborated the PML-N.
