LAHORE: Senior vice president of the PML-N, Maryam Nawaz, has reached Lahore on Saturday. Maryam Nawaz says that Nawaz Sharif has started preparation for return to Pakistan, adding that PML-N will win next elections with majority.
Thousands of the PML-N workers welcomed her at Allama Iqbal International Airport. in Lahore on Saturday afternoon. Maryam Nawaz reached Lahore by PIA flight 264 from Dubai after spending three and a half months in London.
Addressing party workers, Maryam Nawaz said that Mian Nawaz Sharif will return to Pakistan very soon. She said that Nawaz Sharif was aware about high inflation in the country, adding that the PML-N has always taken the country out of the difficulties. She said, “we should trust Ishaq Dar as he would take the country out of the present economic crisis.”
She said that prosperous Pakistan will return, adding that Imran Khan should be held accountable for the four years, and then the present government should be held accountable for eight months. She claimed that Nawaz Sharif one again take the country out of crisis and lead it to development.
Maryam Nawaz said that all character involved in conspiracy against Nawaz Sharif are being exposed every day. She said that Nawaz Sharif would return with more power. She announced that she would start visits to every districts of Punjab from February 1 to reorganize the party. “We are not afraid of elections. We will win next elections with thumping majority.”
Meanwhile talking to media at airport, Maryam Nawaz said that she would focus on reorganization of the party. To a question about Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Mifta Ismail, she refused to respond about Mifta Ismail. However, she said, that no one could doubt the affiliation of Shahid Khaqan Abbasi with the PML-N. She added that Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has made it clear that he would not change the party and would go to home if quit the PML-N.
