SIALKOT: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz candidate Chaudhry Armaghan defeated Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) candidate Firdous Ashiq Awan in the general elections.
The two, running for National Assembly seat from NA-72 constituency of Sialkot, had a nail-biting contest in the elections.
According to unofficial results, Chaudhry Armaghan stood first with 129, 041 votes while Firdous Ashiq Awan remained runner up with 91, 392 votes.
