Police arrest top JuD’s leader in Lahore

LAHORE: The Lahore police have arrested top leaders of banned Jamaat-ud-Dawa and brother in law of Hafiz Saeed on Wednesday.
Abdul Rehman Makki was arrested under the Maintenance of Public Order Act over hate speech against the crackdown and criticizing steps taken by the government under FATF guidelines.
Makki is head of Jamaat-ud-Dawa’s political and international affairs wing and in-charge of its charity Falah-e-Insaniat for which he had appealed for donations.
