SARGODHA: Sargodha police on Thursday arrested nine drug pushers and recovered 21.624kg of narcotics and illegal weapons from them.
Police spokesman informed media that on the direction of Sargodha DPO, teams of different police stations raided the areas of their jurisdiction and arrested 9 accused and recovered over 19.399kg hashish, 2.225kg heroin, 280 bottles of liquor, 1 gun of 12 bore and 1 revolver of 32 bore along with bullets and cartridges.
The accused were identified as Muhammad Farooq, Sabir Raza, Irfan Baloch, Muhammad Irfan, Ansr Abbas, Tahir Hussain, Waqas Rafaqat, Ramzan and Tanveer Hussain.
Police have registered separate cases against the accused.
