ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Tuesday finalized the names of the MNAs for standing committee of the National Assembly.
The names were finalized during a meeting of the PPP, which was chaired by former president Asif Ali Zardari and PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutton in Islamabad. The meeting reviewed the current political situation in the country.
Meanwhile, Aimal Wali, son of ANP president Asfandyar Wali Khan, called on former president Asif Ali Zardari in Islamabad.
A spokesman for the PPP Farhatullah Babar rejected reports about telephonic contact between Asif Ali Zardari and Mian Nawaz Sharif.
Meanwhile, talking to Peoples Students Federation leaders, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari stressed on the need for revival of students unions in the country. He asked the students to support him.
