LAHORE: President of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Chief Minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif has said that PML-N always gave priority to interests of the country.
In a statement issued on Friday, Shehbaz Sharif claimed that they completed several mega projects in record time.
He also said that PML-N undertook and completed welfare projects despite hurdles.
Making another claim, he said that his party will expand welfare programs in the entire country if voted to power in the coming elections.
Turning to political opponents, Shehbaz Sharif said that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) promoted negative politics in the country.
Chief Minister Punjab maintained that both the parties, which have formed governments in Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, have disappointed people of their provinces.
He added that PPP and PTI had given nothing to the people of their provinces and added that they wasted precious time of the poor people.
