PPP to vote for PML-N candidates in Senate by-polls

LAHORE: Pakistan People’s Party would vote for Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz candidates in the by-election on two Senate seats from Punjab.
The decision was taken during a meeting of the Parliamentary leader of the PPP in Punjab Assembly Hasan Murtaza with chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zadari on Friday.
“We have competition with a fascist party, which we cannot support,” said Murtaza.
The by-election on the seats, which were vacated when PML-N senators Haroon Akhtar and Saadia Abbasi were disqualified, will be held on November 15. due to dual nationality.
