PPP’s Dr Tanveer Islam, PML-Q’s Chaudhry Maqsud join PTI

Imran Khan likely to be sworn in at Islamabad’s D-Chowk

SIALKOT: Pasrur-based PPP’s former provincial minister Punjab Dr Tanveer Islam and his uncle Chaudhry Maqsud Ahmed Sulehria (the PML-Q backed former Pasrur Tehsil Nazim) have joined the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf.
They called on PTI Chairman Imran Khan in Islamabad and announced to join PTI.
They also expressed complete confidence in the leadership of Imran Khan.
Earlier, Daska based PPP district president of Sialkot District Ch. Ejaz Ahmed Cheema had also joined the PTI.
He announced to join PTI after his formal meeting with PTI Chairman Imran Khan held at Banigala, Islamabad.
He expressed his full confidence in the leadership of Imran Khan.
Ejaz Ahmed Cheema had been the PML-Q’s Tehsil Nazim of Daska during the Musharraf’s regime.
However, PPP local leadership has strongly criticized Ejaz Cheema for joining PTI. – APP
