LAHORE: The schedule for the final of the eighth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) has been changed. Now the final match of the PSL-8 will be played on March 18, one day ahead of its schedule.
The Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board’s Management Committee, Najam Sethi, announced on social media that there is a possibility of rain during the PSL 8 final, which has made PCB and franchises concerned about any interruptions during the final. Sethi revealed that a decision has been made to reschedule the PSL final to make it better. He said that the final of PSL 8 will now be played on March 18 instead of March 19. Sethi also mentioned that the tickets purchased earlier for the final will be valid for March 18. It should be noted that Multan Sultans have already qualified for the PSL final after winning the qualifier, while the winner of the second eliminator between Lahore Qalandars and the other eliminator winner will play against Multan Sultans in the final.
