PSL final: Fans pour-in in Lahore to witness Gladiators, Zalmi clash

LAHORE: Amid unprecedented security arrangements, the fans of Pakistan Super League (PSL) have started pouring-in in Lahore as Quetta Gladiators and Peshawar Zalmi are all set to take on each other in the much anticipated and decisive match of the PSL second edition here on Sunday evening.
The foreign players of Peshawar Zalmi have already arrived in Lahore who were escorted by heavy security to a private hotel. Peshawar Zalmi management, cricket fans and a number of political leaders warmly welcomed them at the airport.
Before the final match gets started, renowned Pakistani singers would demonstrate their performance to welcome the foreign players and embellish the event.
Unprecedented security arrangements have been made for the final match as personnel of Pakistan Army, Rangers and Police have been deployed on roads around Gaddafi Stadium and on its walls.
All the entry points to the stadium have been sealed with the help of containers and aerial surveillance was underway.
A temporary hospital comprised 25 beds has also been established in hockey stadium where 125 medical staff including doctors and paramedics would discharge their duties.
Meanwhile, big screens have been installed at different locations in Karachi, Islamabad, Peshawar, Quetta and other cities to watch the final match of PSL second edition.
