ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Thursday sought the support of the Balochistan National Party-Mengal (BNP-M) for formation of government in centre.
A two-member delegation of the PTI, Naeemul Haq and Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind, called on BNP-M chief Sardar Akhtar Jan Mengal at Balochistan House and discussed the current political situation in the country and formation of governments in centre and Balochistan.
According to reports, the PTI delegation also invited Akhtar Mengal for a one-on-one meeting with Imran Khan.
Talking to newsmen after the meeting, Mengal said that his party has presented five demands to the PTI leaders. He said that the first demand is solution to missing persons issue and implementation of the APC demands regarding the CPEC projects. He said that if the PTI responds positively to his demands, then the BNP-M could cooperate with the PTI.
Naeemul Haq told the media, that they would present the demands of the BNP-M to the PTI chief Imran Khan. He termed the meeting as positive.
