CHARSADDA: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan has said that his party will not allow the ruling party Muslim League-Nawaz to privatize government institutions.
“PML-N is going to privatize government institutions including WAPDA for making profits. But the PTI will not allow them to do so”, said Imran Khan while addressing a huge crowed in Charsadda’s Sheikh Abad area.
“We asked the federal government to handover the power production & distribution to KP but they didn’t”, said Khan adding the government handover the power generation and distribution to us and they’ll show them how to stop power theft & make profit.
On the occasion, Khan criticized Punjab and Sindh local government system says that both government didn’t want to empower the people at grassroots level. “In KP, we developed a provincial finance department and devolved down power with funds but in Punjab funds will be distributed through Deputy commissioner,” said Khan.
Without naming anyone, he said that some political parties now criticizing Pak-Army for talking about good governance, but he didn’t see anything bad in that statement.
Appraising the KP government, the PTI chairman said that no one, not even army can question KP government because they have already improved governance in all areas.
