Quake of 5.8 magnitude jolts parts of KP, Punjab, Azad Kashmir

PESHAWAR: Strong earthquake with 5.8 magnitude jolts various parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab and Islamabad on Saturday.
According to met office, The quake was 175 km deep  in the Hindu Kush mountain range .
An 5.8 magnitude of the quake was recorded on the Richter Scale, added met office.
The tremors were felt in Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Chiniot, Attock, Mandi Bahauddin, Haripur, Abbottabad, Peshawar, Swat, Malakand, Mardan, Dir, Hangu and Charsadda.
People, reciting verses of holy Quran, rushed outside their houses and offices buildings.
