LAHORE: Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique has announced launching freight train service from Quetta to Iranian city of Zahidan for pilgrims
Addressing a news conference in Lahore on Monday, Saa RAfique said that the train service from Quetta to Iranian city of Zahidan on Tuesday.
Rafique said various concrete measures are being taken to improve the financial position of Pakistan Railways.
He said Pakistan is also ready for ECO freight train. He said Turkish officials are engaged in restoration of track on their side.
He also announced special allowance for railway workers restoring railway track from Quetta to Zahidan.
