Qureshi meets, Afghan president, cheif executive, FM in Kabul

KABUL: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi held separate meetings with Afghan President Dr Ashraf Ghani, Chief Executive Dr Abdullah Abdullah and his Afghan counterpart Syed Salahuddin Rabbani in Kabul on Saturday.
They discussed improvement in bilateral relations and important issues of mutual and regional interest.
The Foreign Minister on the occasion said trilateral dialogue forum will help promote connectivity as well as regional peace and stability.
He expressed the hope that a stable Afghanistan will lead to well-being of the whole region.
Foreign Minister Qureshi congratulated Afghan President on making best arrangements for holding of trilateral dialogue.
Afghan President thanked Shah Mehmood Qureshi for participating in the trilateral dialogue and his assurance of cooperation.
Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi held a meeting with Cheif Executive Dr Abdulllah and assured that Pakistan would continue to play its role in Afghan reconciliation process.
Meanwhile, Qureshi also met with his Afghan counterpart Syed Salahuddin Rabbani at Ministry of Foreign Affairs Afghanistan .
On the occasion, the Afghan Foreign Minister thanked Shah Mahmood Qureshi for Pakistan’s efforts in Afghan reconciliation.
During the meeting, bilateral and other issues of mutual interest were discussed.
